Appearance
The golem appears to be a strong and powerful looking body, as it was designed for deep-sea ocean work. It sports dull-powered spherical appendages that can act as excavation tools, but are primarily used as weapons by Karik. When inhabited by the two mindcores, the body sprouts receptors that appear to be a combination of Karik and Itzil's receptors.
Additionally, the golem gains several pairs of eyes. Because of Itzil's stasis, their eye appears darkened on the golem's face, while Karik's eyes are bright and active.
Personality
Due to Itzil's stasis, Karik acts as the primary operator and speaker of the golem body. Therefore, the IK Golem sounds and behaves like Karik. However, near the end of the final fight in the Golem Maintenance memory, Itzil briefly awakens and assumes full control of golem. In a fit of hysterical rage, they scream and smash the constructor golem until it is nothing more than sludge. Afterwards, they return to stasis, giving Karik control of the body.
History
Golem Maintenance
After collecting the sufficient golem sfer and schematics, Akizet and her team enter the Greater Vats to construct a body for the two mindcores. Cavik (if found) and Tozik prepare the foundry vat while the rest of the team fetch the materials. Once preparations are complete, Tozik opens the new golem to allow the mindcores to enter. Karik dives in willingly, and Miltza guides Itzil's inactive mindcore into its chassis. The golem twitches to life and sprouts a combination of Karik and Itzil's receptors. Karik is happy to be in a new, powerful body and the team continues to prepare to siege Advanced Operations. From here on, the IK Golem is available as a party member to assist Akizet in combat encounters.
Inside Advanced Operations, a multipurpose deep-sea constructor golem is found seized by the aggressive signal. After engaging in combat, Akizet asks Karik to take the lead in assaulting the enemy golem. The two golems engage in one to one combat, presenting to the Interloper as a turn-based fighting game due to the Framing Device. After the golem is defeated, Itzil briefly awakens, screaming and smashing the golem into nothing but sludge in a fit of hysterical rage. Afterwards, Itzil returns to stasis. After Akizet calls the all-clear, the rest of the team follows into the room. The memory ends when the team confirms that they can use the Impressor device to clone their Timestopper cyst.
