Corru is a living, metallic substance that is grown and shaped by obesk engineers through methods that are currently unclear[1]. Its exact composition is unknown, though one of its food sources is known to be copper[2].
Black corru
Black corru is a structural variant of corru that forms naturally in spires[3]. It is black in colour with a purple sheen, and possesses far higher density and strength than normal corru.
Corrucysts
Corru naturally grows into spheres called corrucysts, which form a hard outer layer called corrucystic glass[4] that parts for Obesk receptors, allowing the corru within to be taught how to function[5].
