The pilot cyst is the golem responsible for navigation for dull vessels.
Akizet's pilot cyst can be viewed and interacted with in Our Dull Vessel. When first met, it is incoherent and does not provide any translatable text. After Velzie destroys the interview in the Funny Little Room, it also makes the pilot cyst lucid. The pilot cyst can then be directed by the Interloper to guide the vessel to the Void or to Their Waters, which can be directed to dive into the ocean to reveal the Depths.
