Black corru
Black corru is a structural variant of corru that forms naturally in spires[4]. It is black in colour with a purple sheen, and possesses far higher density and strength than normal corru.
Corrucysts
Corru naturally grows into spheres called corrucysts, which form a hard outer layer of corrucystic glass[5] that parts for Obesk receptors, allowing the corru within to be taught how to function[6].
Corrucystic hardware forms the backbone of Obesk technology; their development sparked a revolution that rapidly spread across Obeski[7], and paved the way for the construction of the Okizika in Ekiva, new advances in medical technology[8], spaceflight, and more.
Sludge
When corru loses its form or dies, it melts into violet sludge. While sludge can be upcycled or reformed into fresh corru[9][10], it is unknown if such reformation is good for the long-term health of corru-based organisms.
