Satik cysts are corrucystic devices that contain multiple armor applicators in a vestibule cradled by stylized veilk tendrils. When shattered, the applicators deploy, rapidly coating the user in a temporary carapace.
The carapace is a form of responsive armour designed to ablate as it is used. It is unknown as to how exactly this armor 'responds', but it is possible that it exhibits some form of low-level intelligence as most corru-based devices seem to do, and can dynamically change its form to prepare for or respond to physical trauma.
It is named after the satik, a particularly hardy species of Obeski wildlife that parasitizes veilk.
