The Mindspike is an appendage-like device used by the Interloper that is able to access the thoughtforms, thoughtspaces, and memories contained within Akizet's personal corrucyst. It is able to produce renderable output, establish communication with thought forms, translate the Obesk language, and log entities encountered. It is implanted into the body of the user and equipped with a set of utility claws for object manipulation.
The Mindspike industry was directly inspired by Obesk groundsmindry technology[1].

Framing Devices are third-party utilities that can manipulate what the Mindspike processes in order to access previously blocked memories.[2]
GAD
The GAD, also known as the global ambient dissonance, is a fluctuating value that effects Mindspike technology by causing deviations in usually stable renderings. Moth recalls the story of the discovery of the GAD in which a fjortoft box running a constant and consistent signal would have the same changes that affected all Mindspikes, despite not being directly connected. There are various theories of whether this is because of the Earth or the Dull's electromagnetic interference.
The GAD can be viewed on the top right of the system management menu. Its value is based on the GCP dot. When the GAD is low in coherence, the cyst will subtly change. These changes can be seen as minor visual differences to gaps previously closed now being accessible. The Interloper can equip the Hunger Mask to simulate low value GAD on demand.
Masks
Masks are a third-party utility that can alter thought spaces. They are unlocked by first meeting the Council in Jokzi Ozo.
Operating System
Tonga was the first developed operating system for Mindspike technology. Although antiquated, it is currently being used by the Interloper due to its ability to handle higher incoherency than what is typically allowed.
Protective suit
thick, worn by mindspike users when working with corru, protective against corru lifeforms, cyst explosions and presumably the cysts emitting radiation, mindspike users(probably just fbx contractors) informed about safety regulation regarding the protective gear
