God is a thoughtform in the cyst. They are first discovered in the Uncosm, in which they built their own little refuge, called Home.
Appearance
God's appearance is a symbol bearing five eyes. The symbol has a pulsing effect around it. The significance of this symbol or whether it represents any Obesk culture is unknown.
Personality
God has a benevolent demeanor, showing genuine curiosity when first meeting the Interloper. They emphasize that they are God, not Velzie, since they are compassionate rather than apathetic. This compassion is demonstrated by their adoption of the lost Sentries into their own pocket of sanity within the Uncosm.
History
After feeding the cyst
After Funfriend begins repairs, it reports that there is a troublesome entity in the Uncosm that is halting repairs in that area. Funfriend gives the Interloper a proxy and asks them to delete the troublesome entity.
Home
Inside the uncosm, the Interloper discovers the Home thoughtspace. Entering the space reveals God, surrounded by five friends, who were the Sentries from the Authorization Layer. It curiously greets the Interloper and asks if they are a friend. Regardless whether or not the Interloper declares themself as a friend, God will answer their questions about themself. They will refuse to stop their interference with repairs and will initiate combat if the Interloper generates a proxy and attempts to delete them.
During the combat sequence, God will use the the Sentries to attempt to destroy the proxy with their incoherence. The Interloper must guide the proxy through the incoherent barriers in order to progress the sequence. After surviving the assault, God eventually absorbs enough of the surrounding incoherence from the Uncosm to grow in size and attack the proxy directly. Dodging these attacks successfully and disabling the Sentry nodes with the proxy will stop God's assault. If the proxy is killed during any point in the combat sequence, the Interloper must generate another proxy and attempt the entire sequence again.
God can be spared by surviving the final attack and listening to God's pleas for mercy by choosing to destroy the proxy. Alternatively, God can also be spared by using the mindspike's low intensity mode and choosing the "spare" option, which skips the combat section entirely by allowing the Interloper to gently convince God to hide and stop interfering with repairs in order to stay alive.
God can be killed by completing the combat and using the proxy to delete them. If God is killed, they no longer appear in Home.
Membrane Lesion / The Cache
If God is spared, a membrane lesion will open next to team in Home after combat ends. When interacted with, the lesion leads to the Cache. God will happily assist the Interloper in navigating the space as a means of thanking them for their mercy.
If God is killed, they cannot be used to navigate the Cache. Instead, a Proxyfriend is the only way to enter the Cache through lesions that rotate between various areas within the cyst, or in the Hub after Jokzi Ozo is discovered and Funfriend is asked to create the shortcut.
