The Fairy is a thoughtform in the cyst. After the starvation of the cyst, they took the form of a Proxyfriend after being trapped in The Void by Funfriend. Once freed by the Interloper's use of the Unity Mask, the Fairy returns to their room in Jokzi Ozo.
Appearance
The Fairy first takes the form of a Proxyfriend. After being discovered, they instead morph into a more abstract form that the Interloper first thinks is made of stone.[1] The Fairy explains that their appearance is based on a protective charm Akizet carried during her time as a surface runner as a gift from her sister.[2]
Personality
The Fairy is playful and mischievous, combining their powerful abilities with a fearsome persona. According to the Council, they have the unique ability to traverse thoughtspaces and take on different forms. Despite their initial appearance, it is noted that they hold favors done to them in high regard, and will respect those who have helped them.
History
Before recovering the cyst
During the starvation of the cyst, the Fairy was feared by many thoughtforms due to their overwhelming hunger and rage. The Council recalls that the Fairy tore open various thoughtspaces and consumed countless thoughts. Eventually, the Fairy joined the Council within Jokzi Ozo, but was ultimately too afraid to join in their shared dream as an amalgam. Despite this, the Fairy considers the Council as their best friend(s), and created their room to reside in Jokzi Ozo.
At some point, Funfriend seized power and tore the Fairy away from their room, along with the other residents of Jokzi Ozo. Because the Fairy was originally from a memory "beyond the contrivance," Funfriend could not figure out where to put them, and decided to place them in the Void until the memories are repaired.
The Void
After Recollection: Collapse is made available, the Interloper can discover a strange Proxyfriend near the Dull Contrivance in the Void. Interacting with the Proxyfriend will reveal the Fairy, who promises that they will exchange information in return for freedom. In order to free them, the Interloper must use the Unity Mask's ability on the Fairy. When the unity action is used on them, they will discover the way out, and asks the Interloper to meet them in Jokzi Ozo.
Jokzi Ozo
Now free, the Fairy resides in their room in Jokzi Ozo, which looks similarly to the Void. When first interacted with, they will excitedly give the Interloper the Hunger Mask, which allows the Interloper to "wield madness like we do."[3] Subsequently, the Interloper can now ask them questions about themself and their history with Jokzi Ozo.
