Vekoa is a Qou Obesk who acted as the groundsmind for The Embassy. She resided on the groundsmindry floor, which was near the bottom of the spire.[1] She was able to be contacted by Obesk in the Embassy through golems.
During the events of the Collapse, Vekoa became unreachable and some of the constructs that were in her control became hostile, most notably Movefriend. Akizet and her team believed the groundsmind was compromised in some way by the aggressive signal.[2][3][4]. She was then encountered in Pale Halls, where she has been melded by the signal and crushes Itzil after broadcasting Dozkallvi's memory of them ascending. Throughout the course of the area, she is revealed to have been attempting a ceremony, the process that creates a dull contrivance, inside the Embassy. She is then later encountered, and Miltza tries to converse with her, willingly turning into Possessed Miltza on contact. She is then finally encountered inside the groundsmindry chamber, where she acts as the final foe the team must face. She attacks Akizet in a one-on-one fight while the rest of the team outside shrinks the ongoing ceremony. In her final moments, she casts her spectral form aside to use what remains of her husked body.
The Jutskins in the embassy are modelled after her signature.
