The Embassy is a spire that was built by the obesk when they arrived to Earth which served as their main headquarters and residence during their investigation of the Call and their relations with humankind.
It can be viewed in Their Waters and appears to be a tall black and magenta construct located on an island in an unknown ocean. Long black tendrils extend from the base of the spire onto the island's ground.
The spire is made of black corru, a very hard and dense type of corru used for structural applications.[1]
Like most other major obesk structures, the Embassy had a groundsmind which manages the administrative matters and the structure of the spire itself.[2] The groundsmind, Vekoa, was able to be contacted through the attendant drones present in some segments of the Embassy.
In the past, the Embassy was much larger that it is in the current year of events, and the island was smaller.[3] This is due to the Collapse, the event in which the Embassy[4] and the polygonation spires melted following an attack by a disruptive signal.[5] Following this event, the obesk mostly retreated from Earth, and very few visit it anymore.[6] Additionally, the oceans surrounding the island the Embassy was built on are said to be affected by the events of the Collapse.[7]
