Karik is one of the side characters of corru.observer, being a member of the Embassy
They are a Kiv Qou Obesk that came to Earth to work in an unspecified Initiative, but spent most of their time prospecting locations for, and then designing polygonation spire designs. Before this they helped to "grow" the embassy, though their involvment was limited[1]
While on Earth, they lived in the Embassy along with the rest of the Qou Obesk working in various other initiatives. In game, they are met (as a mindcore) during Collapse, after clearing Recreation and freeing them from their destroyed body.
